I admit to needing a new pair of glasses, but HOW does
one identify the "controlling" editor of a Wikipedia
page?

Here's hoping that someone is at work to spruce up
that article. I bet, for example, that most of us
didn't know that we use primary, secondary, and
circumstantial evidence. And that we apparently don't
do much except collect names and put together
pedigrees.

As for using Wikipedia as a source, I'd add that I
think I was taught by about 6th grade that one should
not use an encyclopedia as the only or primary source
for a paper. Hopefully, schools are still teaching
that lesson early, but I guess it's a sad sign of the
times that some would choose to censor or ban a
specific source.

Thank you, John, for your excellent summary of how you
do use Wikipedia.
