Subject: [APG] Calico wagons

Listers,
A man recently came in to a small museum and told an associate that
"calico" wagons were designed by "a Mr. Calico. The wheels were larger in the
back." I have "googled" the term and come up with zip. Perhaps I'm not spelling
the surname correctly, but, in my opinon, the wagon should look like a
prairie schooner. If anyone knows off the top of your head whether or not there
was any such thing as a "calico" wagon, please let me know. (Sources are
helpful also. <g>) This may have just been another term for the schooner. Thank you.
