Thus the reason I don't travel much outside the South (anymore, that is). I never found as good a sweet tea as I do here in GA and AL. I would never in my wildest dreams disgrace such a wonderful brew with an artificial sweetener (we won't go there about my hips). And the tea itself has to be the "right" tea made the "right" way. Lipton (no cold brew).

A pot of water, about a cup of sugar - let it boil up for a min - take it off the heat and let the bags steep for a while. (not too long or it gets yukky)

Can't stand artificial sweetener in anything. Just doesn't seem natural and I don't want my ancestors looking at me and mournfully shaking their heads. I fear their wrath so I avoid looking up when I'm in the sugar aisle.
