I grew up right outside of Woodbury, where did you live?

---------------------
I grew up in Westmont and have very vivid memories of the early Bell
telephone phone service. I remember friends having the different rings with their
party lines -- and had thought that meant they had a 4 party line. It could
have been they offered different types of 2 party line service, I don't know
for sure, but I definitely remember we didn't hear the other party's incoming
calls -- but could hear then talking when they were using the phone and we
picked up the receiver. Or if we were using the phone and they picked up you
could hear a "click" sound and you knew they were trying to use the phone (and
were listening in).
