The value of digitizing more records is evident to historians and
genealogists. Since NARA has also partnered with Footnote.com to do the same
type of work on other NARA record groups, with splendid results, my
questions are:

-- Isn't Footnote.com a better venue for our access to additional NARA
record groups than Ancestry.com?
-- Isn't Footnote's corporate policy a little easier to take than
Ancestry's?
-- Isn't Footnote's interface easier to navigate?

Maybe NARA feedback might applaud the digitization but recommend increasing
the scope of the partnership with a company you prefer.

Just thinking out loud here.
