Janessa, thank you for the link, I was not aware there was such a group.? My 5th Great Grandfather built a Tavern in Savannah, Tondee's Tavern and the "Sons of Liberty" held their secret meetings there during the Revoulutionary uprising.? He was an?true patriot and was not fortunate to live long enough to see independence, as he died Oct 1774, but his wife carried on with the Tavern, allowing meetings to continue in the "Long Room."? The DAR museum in Washington, DC has a room depicting what his tavern would have looked like.?
