Joel,

I would date it just a tad earlier (perhaps 1880/85), depending on
where it was taken.

The puffed sleeve caps with the tight lower sleeve on the women were
precursors of the exaggerated leg 'o mutton sleeves which became
popular in the 1890's. Also, the collar scarves on the 2 youngest
girls were typical of mid-western to western dress ca. 1885.

The man's suit and waistcoat is typical for 1775/80, but we don't
know how long he had it <g>
