I wonder if using the Ancestry Card Catalog would help in locating a
specific database?

I was looking at the "old man's" draft registration for 1942 last
night on Ancestry and accidentally found an uncle who disappeared in
1924. He was born in 1883. Tonight I tried to get back into the
same database to look for others and couldn't find it on Ancestry's
new page. So I used Google and immediately found it.
