Hi everyone

The Ontario (Canada) Chapter of APG is in the process of finalizing its
by-laws and has struck a small committee to prepare a draft for
consideration at our September meeting.

I think we have 'covered the basics' with what we have so far, but it would
be interesting to hear of other chapters' experiences. While not wanting to
spark a debate on the list, we would be interested in hearing from you if
you are willing to share:

- do you have formal position descriptions for members of your executive
body?
- does your executive play a role as a management group to resolve issues
between meetings?
- have any of you had to revisit your by-laws because issues arose that
weren't covered?
- how do you handle resignations mid term - new elections, appointment by
executive, call for volunteer or other?

If any of you would be willing to share copies of your chapter by-laws, we
would be very grateful - you can send them to the undersigned off list.
