It's nice that you are able to afford the gratuity. As this is avocational
for me, I have set a monthly budget for retrieving documents, and I am
always happy to find the 'bargains', though I don't mind paying a reasonable
fee. As an example, I considered the $15/per I spent retrieiving the birth
certificates of my great grandfather's siblings more than reasonable, almost
a bargain, since they were born in England, but I longed for the day of a
better exchange rate that would have made the 7 pounds equivalent to $10.
