Please help me with a couple of citations. I'm sure they're covered in
Evidence, but I haven't found it yet.

Both items are from a Civil War pension file at NARA, and both are original
documents. One is an affidavit from a man who claimed to be a neighbor of
the soldier his entire life. The other is a letter written by the veteran
himself explaining his war injuries and various places of residence.

This is what I have, but I'm not confident with it:

1. General Affidavit from John Doe, Homesville, Indiana, 04 August 1869;
Jack Solder (Sgt., Co. C, 53rd Regt., Ind. Vol., Civil War), pension file
number WC-111-111, pension application based on service between 1864 and
1866, Pension Application Files, 1800-1960, Department of Veterans Affairs;
National Archives, Washington, D.C.

2. Letter written by Jack Soldier, Homesville, Indiana, 10 May 1887 to P. R.
Official ; Jack Soldier (Sgt., Co. C, 53rd Regt., Ind. Vol., Civil War),
pension file number WC-111-111, pension application based on service between
1864 and 1866, Pension Application Files, 1800-1960, Department of Veterans
Affairs, National Archives, Washington, D.C.

Any guidance will be appreciated.
