Dear Richard,

On the WW II card I believe this is West Union, OH.  Although Denton is  listed as being born in January 1888 I am intrigued by the WW I card  for Denton Pence born Sept 12 1888:

http://content.ancestry.com/iexec/?htx=View&r=an&dbid=6482&iid=KY-1653776-1499&fn=Denton&ln=Pence&st=r&ssrc=&pid=32299681

which says Manchester, OH as birthplace.  Manchester is near West Union.  Maybe a relative, maybe the same.

In any case, would bet you a bowl of Christmas brandy it is West Union.  :)

Sincerely,
Kathy Flynn
Loveland, OH

The World War II (two) draft registration for Denton Pence (born 1888) gives
his place of birth as West _Niuore_, Ohio. I _think_ that's what it says.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what this might be?
