Debbie,

My personal preference is to put document type in the front of the citation. So how about this:

Bill of Sale Concerning Demetriou Politaki to his son Manoli, 17 October 1849; no. 1609/45; Local Manuscript Collection; Koraes Library, Chios, Greece.

What format do you have it in? I'd put that in there too. If this came from the same collection as the other one I mention that they were unnamed papers.
