through
my granny glasses at an utterly mystifying entry and mumbled to myself,
"...where the h#*# did that come from, and why the h#*# didn't I cite my
source?!!!"

Kate, if we scheduled a crow-pie party for the next NGS conference, we'd
have to book the banquet hall!

Sometimes, in my presentations on sources, I'll facetiously ask for a show
of hands among those who can say they have cited their sources thoroughly
from Day 1 in genealogy. Across umpteen years and some pretty big audiences,
exactly one person has ever raised her hand.
