Janessa,

Craig wrote, "This discussion is about to send me into a coronary. Rules and
Regulations are NOT law. They are written by bureaucrats. Think of
the book of Leviticus vs. the book of Genesis and the Ten
Commandments. Leviticus is rules and regulations. You may not
believe in Genesis of the Ten Commandments, but it at least sets
forth what someone thought was the law."

This does not say that the Ten Commandments is in the Book of Genesis. The
comparison of books was between Genesis and Leviticus. The Ten Commandments
was a third consideration. Craig did error when he typoed "of" instead of
"or" but his meaning was clear. He was mentioning three different things.
The main point of his email was "to always stick up for your rights. And
if some one tries to block you, keep going anyway." I agree with his
original message.

Jeanette

Jeanette,

Peggy was absolutely on target in her response to Craig. I didn't see that
she read anything into his email -- she simply addressed what was there.
This is a list intended to help all of us to be better professionals, and to
be correct and accurate in the things we write. Craig did have some facts
wrong in his email and she was simply pointing that out.

Peggy,

I think you completely misread Craig's email. You have put words and
meanings into his email that weren't there. You are good at that. I wish
that you would be more considerate in your postings.

Sincerely,

Jeanette Daniels

Craig,

Better stick with genealogy! As far as Bible history goes, the ten
commandments are contained in the book of Exodus, not Genesis. The book
of Leviticus is not "what someone thought was the law", it is additional
instructions that Moses received from God concerning crime and
punishment, the sacrificial system, what is clean and what is not,
etc... People can choose to believe it or not believe it, but let's keep
the presentation correct.
