I have written twice requesting that my ancestors who are listed in the
IGI be removed. They shouldn't be there. Despite my two requests, their
names have not been removed.
The address to which I wrote four years ago was listed in the below

When I went to the above site tonight I found that the paragraph
containing the link no longer exists. I saw, however, that there has
been a recent and fairly comprehensive update to the subject. Without
taking any position on the dispute, I offer the below paper as a good
representation of the perceived problem. It also contains a short
bibliography for additional background information.
