Subject: [APG] location of Brome Quebec land record
Date: Thu, 28 May 2009 12:54:25 -0700 (PDT)
I am trying to find the record that this entry in the Ancestry's Canadian Genealogy Index, 1600-1900s refers to. I am not familiar with Canadian research. Can someone help me? It is a land record for Brome Quebec found in the Archives of Ontario. I could not find anything in the catalog on familysearch.org that seems to fit the year and volume/page no. listed. The following is what is found on Ancestry.com:
Candian Genealogy Index, 1600s-1900s
Name: John P. Webster
Event: Living
Year: 1852
Province: Quebec
County: Brome
Place: Brome
Comments: Land Record
Source: Land Grants: Quebec 1800s, Archives of Ontario, Ottawa
Volume/Page: 1900
Note: The province and county are associated with the location of the record source and in some cases may not be the same as the place where the event occurred.
