Stewart, I don't believe anyone has suggested that you need to give your
client citations that include all of the EE data. You can record that for
yourself, use it to create your argument, and then attach to the report the
most basic footnote to accomplish what you want (in your case, simply
identifying the source & its location).

As for your jest about microfilm, keep in mind that the image on a reel of
microfilm might fade a bit from use, but it will not *change* to something
else (can you imagine!!). Websites are fluid, and including a date when they
were viewed is a good way to capture the "version" you were using. It's not
unlike listing a copyright date for a book, or a date of publication for a
