All you guys make the site great!

I'll let you in on a secret -- this may sound corny to some, and downright
offensive to others and I won't apologize -- but God has always provided me
with exactly what I need when I need it.
The site cost is only about $12 a month. Its no biggie, and I really like the
fact I don't have to worry about that dreaded "x" showing up on the pages
when people want to see pictures, plus its a great way to share this
photographic history with others. I've seen and compared transcriptions when
I put up those links, and its wonderful when we have an older one to compare
to a newer one. (and you thought I was just typing. LOL)
I could never have done the wonderful pictures that Deb Symanski sent to me
for Mount Holly without that other website.
I am now just getting tons of pictures, and I am SO EXCITED!!! I can't wait
to get time to build those sites.
I've only got 10 more counties to rebuild, and I stop to get the
transcriptions online, and then I'll have to start asking folks to put their
stuff on our site too, so our little search engine will have its hands full.
I know most of those folks' emails aren't going to work, so it will probably
be difficult getting permission, but i'll give it my best shot.
Katrina Johnson has recently provided us with permission to put her
transcriptions for Saline County on the site, and I'll be working on those
too!

You have my permission to post them wherever they can be seen and used by

Isn't it great when we can all work together? I've seen so many sad things
happen to our Arkansas cemeteries -- I've read about the vandalism, the
paving over, and the utter destruction of tombstones. The "people?" doing
these things don't realize how precious those names are to us. They're not
just names carved into stone, they are the summation of lives lived to the
best of their abilities, and their very spirits call out to us when we're
there searching for them. I know some of you have had that experience
too...and know what it feels like.
To honor our loved ones, and those we don't know. Let's continue with the
work, because sharing their memories with others and leaving it behind means
so much to us all.
