Died in Gurdon (Clark Co.) Ark. in 1910.
Interred in Easley Cem. Have pic of tombstone.
Can anyone tell me if there is a death certificate somewhere to verify
parentage?
Went to _www.findagrave.com_ (http://www.findagrave.com) and there's a
photo of Mr Birdwell's stone. States he died in 1910 (no month or day) but also
states "A Baptist Minister". You may just be able to check with the Baptist
churches in the area for more information. I did this at a church for a GGG
Grandfather in Connecticut and found lots of things about him. More than I
ever thought I would since all the info was 200 years old.
Worth a try. Also, have you checked the census records, for say, 1850? etc.
