Two wonderful volunteers helped me find the family of Ramage I was searching for in 1870 Independence Co.: Samuel and Nancy Ramage - ages 61 and 63 in 1870. They had a son named Council W. Ramage b. 1839 Fayette Co. TN - could you see if he is listed in the 1870 or 1880 census for Independence Co. AR?
They also had a son named William, born 1848 in TN. Thank you for looking! LINDA
