Good Afternoon!

We are proud to announce that the 15TH ARKANSAS INFANTRY REGIMENT is
now on the Civil War page. This unit is mrked as new and this is the
information about this unit.

"The personnel listed as the 15th AR Inf seem to be a collection of men
from the other 15th Units whose identities could not be determined. The
records are almost exclusively from federal prison records and are
grouped together
here for convenience. There was evidently no unit with this
designation."

You might find your old soldier in this unit. If you need a pension
lookup let us know and be sure and check the 1911 Confederate Veterans
surname list
at the top of the page.
