Hello,

It is with our great sorrow I tell you that Edward G. Gerdes passed away
last night.
He was a great and wonderful man who found our Old Greatgrampas for us in
the Civil War and let us know our families part in that war. It didn't
matter which side of the war, USA ( The north) or Confederate (the south)
but that they fought for what they believed in.
We share this sorrow with his family. Bryan Howerton and I will miss him
terribly and I don't know how we will get along without him.
