Oct. 21, 1921:

Pocahontas, Oct. 20 - Mrs. Dona Hancock died here. She is survived by her husband, four sons and four daughters.

Mena, Oct. 20 - Mean relatives of Tom Webber were informed yesterday of his death, which occurred at Glenwood, Ark. The body will be brought here for burial.

Des Arc, Oct. 20 - Walter Robinson Jr., infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Robinson, died yesterday morning.

Waldo, Oct. 20 - J. T. Harris, aged 55, died here yesterday. He is survived by his wife, by four sons, Clarency, Kelly, Roy and Sam, and by two daughters, Mrs. Jess Sewies and Miss Nella.

Walnut Ridge, Oct. 20 - Erma K. Nutt, postmaster at Sedgwick, died in Texas last night.

Little Rock, Oct. 20 - The body of Mrs. Sarah A. Allen, aged 84, who died at a local hospital was sent to Sulphur Rock, Ark., yesterday by the Cook-Drummond-Overman Company.

Oct. 26, 1921:

Fort Smith, Oct. 25 - Miss Leota Findlay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Findlay, South Sixteenth street, and Robert Hambric, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Hambric, were married Saturday by Rev. A. N. Evans.

Evening Shade, Oct. 25 - John R. Thomas, a farmer residing near town, was injured Saturday night when the mule he was riding fell and threw him off. His right shoulder was dislocated.

Batesville, Oct. 25 - The Independence Circuit Court convened here yesterday for the second week of the fall term. The criminal docket will be disposed of this week, which included the trial of the two Brown brothers for the murder of a young man named Britt, which occurred here last spring.

Oct. 30, 1921:

Russellville, Oct. 22 - The house on the farm of Ezra Shinn, near Mill Creek burned Monday. The come was occupied by Charles Countz, who lost most of his household goods and the contents of the smokehouse, which also burned.

Huntsville, Oct. 22 - Miss Mabel Jones of Whitener was thrown from a horse Monday, and sustained a serious wound on her forehead.

Huntsville, Oct. 22 - Mrs. W. N. Bates of Loy received a letter this week from her brother, Henry Moore. His family lost all trace of him 30 years ago. He spent several years wandering through Asiatic lands, but has lived in New Zealand for 20 years.
