Would it be around Jackson County, AR? My ggpa Samuel Christy had a sawmill probably around Erwin Switch (just east of Newport) that must have burned in the late 20's, I guess. I am trying to find it. The financial backing was Mr. William Blanch Muirhead, who was married to his sister-in-law, Ida. Mr. Muirhead is buried in Auvergne, so it may have been around there.
