I am searching for my mother's, Florine Casey Bryant, family. My mother was
born on December 5, 1919 in Mt. Ida, Arkansas to George and Zoe Gilbert Casey.
I now know that George Washington Casey (born October 4, 1893) to Will and
Carrie Bates Casey, had relatives (Bates) that moved from Virginia, then to
South Carolina, then Sarah Cox Bates (wife of Stephen Bates) moved to
Montgomery County, Arkansas around 1851.
I think perhaps Carrie Bates was Stephen and Sarah Bates daughter?
Stephen's parents were William and Mary Royall Bates.
Since most of my family have passed on I do not have much information. Any
help would be appreciated.
