guidelines.. but do you all agree to change #3 of the guidelines to what
Vi suggested?

If #3. was changed to read:
In the USGenweb Project, copyright to data contributed to any of the
Special Projects resides with the contributor, who agrees that the
USGenWeb Project, as a non profit group, has permanent use of the data.

This is the only part I and many others have reservations about, I'm not
talking about other CC's, I'm speaking of the people who contribute
information to us. Many have stated they would be more then willing to
contribute if they were assured it would never be sold for profit. This
has to be put in the bylaws, or our sources will dry up.
