Hi everyone,

We've been using the FTP links in the NH archives on the web pages to get to
the files we've transcribed. I had a user state that on Web TV they can't
open the ftp links, but he could get to the files by changing it each time
to http.

Has anyone else run across this problem? Should we be using HTTP instead of
FTP links to get to the files?

I had never questioned it since the links were set up that way when I
started and I could open them with Internet Explorer. Maybe with the new
technology we need to rethink how we're setting up the pages. Or maybe this
user just had something set up wrong, but he did say that they could not
download on Web TV, so it must be a limited way to use the Internet.
