There is the argument for having only one logo so every site is consistent
and the logo becomes well known like the target for Target or the ~ sort of
symbol for Nike. They don't have multiple logos. Logos for companies do
get updated from time to time and that is not a bad idea for the USGenWeb.
The logos currently approved do seem a bit dated so having an updated logo
is a good idea. I just don't know about having multiple logos. Seems like
it could be confusing.
