Clearfield - Everett Parks Wilson, 69, of 1239 W. 400 N., died Friday, Nov.
28, 1986, in a Salt Lake City hospital of heart failure.
He was born Sept. 24, 1917, in Datto, Ark., a son of Henry Perry and Mattie
Parks Wilson.
He married Leanora Child July 12, 1945, in Ogden.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a member of VFW, and
was past commander and senior vice president of Post No. 1481. He was past
district commander of the State of Utah.
He had worked for the DR&G Railroad and had owned a bakery and was a
bartender.
Surviving are his widow of Clearfield, two sons and three daughters, Scott
Monroe Wilson Sr., Ashland, KY.; Everett P. Wilson Jr., Rexburg, Idaho; Mrs.
Lawrence (Carolyn Ann) Butler, Jackson, Miss.; Mrs. John (Billie)
Massengale, Sunset; Mrs. Bobbie (Cleo Frances) Dunlap, Wilburton, Okla.; 17
grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is one brother, James Cletus Wilson, Mendenhall, Miss.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Roy
where friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior
to services.
Interment will be in the Clearfield Cemetery where military honors will be
accorded by the VFW.
