Since you didn't give any type of time period for James Andrew Province, I can only surmise. My husband's great-grandfather Harvey Geer had a brother Jasper Louis Geer who married Mary Frances Provance (sometimes found as Province). Her parents were Anderson F. and Juliann (Julia Ann) Drum Province. I believe they lived in Clay Co AR for a while but it may have been only Dunklin Co MO which is just across the St. Francis River. Some of the residents of Chalk Bluff had connections to Campbell which was the closest town in Dunklin Co MO - about 5 miles from the river by today's highway. You may want to research Anderson and Juliann. If you need information on some of their descendants via daughter Mary Frances, I can give you some names although very few existed in the grandchildren generation.
