I believe Charlie is Una's husband and they both work in the courthouse. At
least they did last year when I was there.

I am interested in this as well. I am familiar with Una Pollard and bought
a record book from her while tracing "my roots" through my mother who was
married to William Crossno. My mother's name was Mary Harris. They lived
in Piggott, Arkansas and I was born there. When my father died we had to go
to the courthouse in Piggott and the clerk who helped us was named Charlie
Pollard. This was over 10 years ago so he may not be there now. I have
just started investigating again and found this site. I was excited when I
saw someone knew the name Una Pollard. I was told that we are related to
their family--distant cousins on my mothers side of the family but have not
verified that.
