Hello,
I am trying to contact persons who served in the Civil Air Patrol in Arkansas or the Arkansas State Guard (this unit replaced the National Guard while it was in federal service) during World War 2 in an attempt to collect oral histories and encourage donation of photographs or other documents relating to these organizations to an appropriate museum or historical society. If you did not serve, but have information on someone who did, I would still be interested in hearing from you. Please contact me directly. Thank you.
Blake Sasse, Capt., CAP
Commander, 42nd Composite Squadron (Little Rock)
Arkansas Wing, Civil Air Patrol
