I am a new member looking for information on my Dad. He was a Deputy Sheriff in Craighead Cty. I have pictures of him and others in uniform. He was working around 1952. I was told his parents worked in Polk Cty as share croppers.
I have limited information so far. His parents were James 'Walk' Wilson and Nancy (Parlee) Paxton.
He married Grace Gunn in 1943.
