DOROTHY FANN

Funeral services for Dorothy FANN, a 79 year old resident of Current River Nursing Center, Doniphan, Missouri, will be conducted Friday, April 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in Ermert Funeral Home chapel with Glenn FANN officiating. Burial in Richwoods Cemetery under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
Born in Knobel on April 21, 1925, she married Lehman FANN on April 24, 1943. He survives. She was a retired beautician and member of Doniphan Church of Christ.
Other survivors include one son, Glen FANN, Ripley, Mississippi; three daughters, Doris COX, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Bendetta OGLE, Austin, Texas and Tammy ASBILL, Tyler, Texas; three sisters, Vivian FANN, Doniphan, Missouri, Autrie HAFERTY, Rockford, Illinois and Pansy LOVELESS, Neelyville, Missouri; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 14 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in Ermert Furneral Home, Corning.


JOE WESLEY HOSIER

Joe Wesley HOSIER, Lafe, was born April 26, 1941 in Harrisburg and died Thursday, April 7, 2005 in his home in Lafe. He was 63 years of age.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy of the home; one son, Jeffrey HOSIER, Alton, Illinois; two daughters, Kahsha HOSIER and Carol CORNETT both of the home; five brothers, Ruben Andrew HOSIER, Lafe, George HOSIER, Bethalto, Illinois, Johnny HOSIER, Worden, Illinois, Mickey HOSIER, Paragould; five sisters, Betty HACKWORTH and Mary HOSIER both of Paragould, Caroline BRIDGES, Union City,Tennessee, Bertha LOPEZ, Saginaw, Michigan and Ann ALASTA, West Monroe, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Dezra and Dylan HOSIER.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Violet HOSIER.
Graveside services were conducted Monday April 11, at New Bethel Cemetery with Billy DOWDY officiating under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home Paragould.


CHARLES W. TYLER

Charles W. TYLER was born in Knobel December 9, 1938 and died April 10, 2005 in Piggott Community Hospital. He was 66 years of age, a retired truck driver and affiliated with Corning Y Pentecostal Church.
On June 23, 1989 he married the former Carmaleda KILBREATH and she survives.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in Ermert Funeral Home chapel with Mike KIPMAN and Gary HANCOCK officiating. Burial in Post Oak Cemetery, McDougal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Hazel Fay FLOYD TYLER and three brothers.
Survivors also include two sons, Billy Wayne GILBEE, McDougal and Mr. TYLER, Kentucky; one daughter, Terry BOREN, Corssett; two brothers, Reverend Bill TYLER, Piggott and Johnie TYLER, Pollard; one sister, Shirley VOLNER, Cahokia, Illinois; two granddaughters and one great grandson and several nieces and nephews, friends and relatives.


RAYMOND N. RICE

Raymond N. RICE was born in Corning, November 23, 1923 to Claude and Stella CRADIE RICE and died in his residence in Corning, March 26, 2005 at the age of 81 years.
He was a farmer, truck driver and Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Graveside services were conducted in Corning Cemetery Tuesday, March 29, 2005 with Minister James BRUNNER officiating.
Survivors include one son, Raymond N. RICE, Jr., Rockford, Illinois; two daughter, Theresa ARNDT, Elmira, Ontario, Canada and Rayma Joyce KILPATRICK, San Antonio, Texas; one brother Roy RICE, Mishawaka, Indiana; one sister, Lilly SHAW, Sesser, Illinois; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Raymond N. RICE, III, his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
Services were conducted by Ermert Funeral Home, Corning.



DOROTHY JOYCE

Funeral services for Dorothy JOYCW, lifelong resident of Peach Orchard, were conducted in Ermert Funeral Home Saturday, March 26, 2005. She was born in Peach Orchard September 20, 1915 to Joe and Ola Savannah CROWDER BROWN and died Thursday March 25, 2005 in Clay Healthcare, Corning at the age of 89 years.
She was affiliated with Pirtle Free Will Baptist Church. On September 17, 1932 she married Therman HOBBS who died January 18, 1949. She married Donnie JOYCE on January 26, 1957 and he died on June 21, 1977.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Nannie MOLER and one brother, Floyd BROWN.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce ENGEL, Peach Orchard; six grandchildren, Rosemary TOWNSEND, Jonesboro, JoAnn BRADLEY, Imboden, Gail JONES, Pocahontas, Larry ENGEL, Corning, Alan ENGEL, Ravenden and Lori KERCHEVAL, Jonesboro; 13 freat grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Burial in Pirtle Cemetery, Peach Orchard under direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
Alan ENGEL, Larry ENGEL, Matt BRADLEY, Wayne BRADLEY, Tony JONES and Kevin KERCHEVAL served as pallbearers.


BERNETA ROOKER

Berneta DAVIS ROOKER was born October 16, 1914 in Peach Orchard to John and Ethel PHELPS DAVIS and died Friday, March 25, 2005 in Eaglecrest Nursing and Rehap Center, Ash Flat. She was 90 years of age.
On September 16, 1939 she married Claude Roy ROOKER who died June 12, 2000.
Survivors are one son, Claude Raymon and Beverly ROOKER, Hardy; four grandchildren, Bonnie HANLEY and Richie HANLEY, Portland, Oregon, Kim GRAY, Pocahontas and Amy FISH, West Plains, Missouri; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was affiliated with Ward Street Church of Christ, Hardy. Graveside services were conducted by Gerald BOLIN, Monday, March 28, 2005 in Brownie Cemetery, Peach Orchard under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.


CLOIS A. JACKSON

Graveside services for Clois A. JACKSON will be held Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 12:00 noon at Nelson Cemetery near Reyno.
Born November 19, 1928, he died February 10, 2005 in Houston, Texas. Memorial services were held in First United Methodist Church, Dickinson, Texas on February 14, 2005.
A 1946 graduate of Corning High School, he graduated Hendrix College in 1949 and served in the Korean War. He moved to Texas and was employed with Union Carbide Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Claudette; one daughter, Janet JACKSON LUCY; two sons, William T. JACKSON and Charles A. JACKSON and wife Peggy; grandchildren, Sara E. JACKSON and Russell A. JACKSON; two sisters, Nova SANDOR, Corning and Myrtle BROWNFIEL, Texas; nieces and nephews and a number of cousins.


NORA SULLIVAN

Funeral services for 91 year old Nora SULLIVAN, a resident of Green Acres Nursing Home, Paragould, were conducted Monday, April 18, 2005 in Ermert Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Terry GAGE officiating. Burial in Pirtle Cemetery, Peach Orchard.
Nora SULLIVAN was born November 2, 1913 in Greene County to William and Mary STROUD BOWERS and died April 15, 2005.
Affiliated with Peach Orchard Baptist Church, on December 1, 1929 she married James Madison SULLIVAN, who died March 7, 1996.
Survivors include four sons, James SULLIVAN, Jonesboro, Gene SULLIVAN, Hammond, Indiana, Junior SULLIVAN, Imperial, Missouri and Chuck SULLIVAN, Leachville; three daughters, Lorene DACUS, Paragould, Joyce BARKLEY, Jonesboro and Judy MONTGOMERY, Cabot; one sister, Leona HERRING, Corning; 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and ne great great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, J.L. SULLIVAN; one grandchild, Linda DACUS; one brother and three sisters.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.


ANGELA LANE

Angela D. LANE, St. Louis, Missouri, was born December 18, 1967 in St. Charles Missouri to Roy and Rita RIGGS DILLON and died April 10. 2005 following a motorcycle accident in Illinois. She was 37 years of age.
Survivors are six children; Sherman LANE, Jr. and Havannah LANE, both of Corning, Marc McLEOD, Kinnith McLEOD, Trey McLEON and Dillon LANE, all of St. Louis; her father, Roy DILLON, St. Louis; one sister, Amber BURKE, Elsberry, Missouri; grandparents, Betty RIGGS, Troy, Missouri and Gilbert and Edna DILLON, Fulton, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her mother Rita DILLON, Grandfather, John RIGGS; grandmother, Gladys DILLON and aunts, Nita RIGGS and Patsy BARRETT.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 15, 2005 in McCoy and Blossom Funeral Home, Troy, Missouri with Reverend Mike SCHREINER officiating. Burial in Asbury Cemetery, Foley, Missouri.
