I get my paper from my parents after they have read it and they are having trouble getting it from Corning to Texas where we are. They are running way behind! I just got this one today and as soon as I get others I will post the obits. Please be patient with me.

BILL BROWN
Funeral services for Bill BROWN, Corning, were Saturday, September 10, 2005 in Ermert Funeral Home with Reverend Charles MIDGETT officiating. Burial in Corning Cemetery under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
Born September 12, 1935 in Corning to Arthur and Bessie (RISNER) BROWN, he died in his residence September 7, 2005. He was 69.
A truck driver for BLACKMAN Oil, he married Freida Mae (THORNE) BROWN on June 30, 1989. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors are his wife, Freida BROWN of the home in Corning; two sons, Kenny BROWN, Knobel and Scotty BROWN, Paragould; one daughter, Rhonda BROWN; three step-daughters, Pamela BRYANT, Mt. View, Renae KIRBY, Mississippi, Shelly HANCOCK, Corning; one step-son, Bill ADAMS, California; two sisters, Minnie DODD and Vena JOHNSON, both of Corning; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mildred DODD.
DONALD CURTIS
Donald CURTIS was born August 11, 1937 in Knobel to Mark Amos and Nettie Opal (KENT) CURTIS and died September 7, 2005 in his residence in Peach Orchard. He was 68.
On February 18, 1965 he married Zola Loral (LINDSEY) CURTIS and she survives.
A master printer with White Printing, Paragould, he was a veteran of the US Navy and US Marines.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Browining Cemetery, Peach Orchard with David STALLINGS officiating under direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
Other survivors are one son, Mark and Glenda CURTIS, Peach Orchard; two daughters, Cindy and Pat HOLDER, Peach Orchard, Suzanne and Dennis WHITE, Aurora, IL; one brother, M.A. CURTIS, Knobel; three sisters, Ruth BROWN, Corning, Bonnie STOWELL, Chicago, IL, and Inez CLAMPIT, Ann Aror, MI; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Vic, Max, Elfra and Omer CURTIS.
OZELL PATRICK
Ozell PATRICK was born November 6, 1927 in Pocahontas to George Hubert and Thelma Gladys (EATON) WILLIAMS and died September 9, 2005 in St. Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau, MO. She was 77.
A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she married Hershel Marvin PATRICK, May 31, 1946. He preceded her in death March 7, 2004.
Services were Monday, September 12, 2005 in Ermert Funeral Home with Reverend Billy SNOW officiating. Burial in Bond Cemetery, Knobel under direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
Survivors include six sons, Albert PATRICK, Gatewood, MO, J.T. PATRICK, Allen PATRICK, Glen PATRICK all of Corning; Bobby PATRICK, Black Rock, Anthony PATRICK, Gatewood, MO.; one daughter, Martha DOWDY, Corning; one brother, Guy WILLIAM, Paragould; one sister, Cleva Jean NELSON, Anaheim, CA.; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Also, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Memorials may be made to Knobel Cemetery Association.
JILLIAN ALEXIS SWEANEY
Jillian Alexis SWEANEY, Paragould, died Thursday, September 8, 2005 in a house fire in Paragould. She was two years five months old.
Born April 8, 2003 to Brad and Jennifer SWEANEY, funeral services were conducted Sunday September 11, 2005 in Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Gary HOLCOMB officiating. Burial in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Survivors include her parents, Brad and Jennifer SWEANEY, Paragould; one brother, Michael Gage JOHNSON; grandparents, Bill and Debbie SWEANEY, Knobel, Sam and Betty EASLEY, Paragould, Richard and Patricia GRIFFITH, Paragould; great-grandfather, Paul GRIFFITH, Mt. Ida; aunts and uncles, Missy and Kevin BANKS, Paragould, Resi and Jimmy SIMMONS, Lafe, Shawn GRIFFITH, Caraway; cousin Christopher GRIFFITH.
Services conducted under the direction of Heath Funeral Home, Paragould.
