I just happened to take a look at the Arkansas Knight Marriages 1851-1900 on the Knight discussion list. I was very surprised to find my gggrandfather's half brother's marriage listed ABSOLEM KNIGHT - EMMA McELWEE 8 Aug 1883. I have no idea what took Absolem to Arkansas to get married. My Knights lived in and around Osceola and Lowry City, St. Clair co., MO. Then I started wondering if he had other Knight relatives in that area (there seemed to be quite a few Knights). Any thoughts.
