I am trying to find out anything about Robert Henderson Singleton, who died
in 1917 and was buried in the Bushmiaer Cemetery. His wife was a M. E.
Singleton who died in 1919 and is also buried in the same cemetery.
Robert was very interesting and had served in the 10th Missouri Vol.
Infantry, Co. H., CSA. He served along side his father Osema Singleton, and brother
William C. Singleton. William was my great great grandfather. A family legend
says that Robert's mother may have been a Cherokee, this hopelessly unprovable
but cool.

I would be interested in any possible scrap of information about these
Singletons. I have just heard that the Bushmiaer Cemetery is very overgrown, is
there any information about this mysterious place?
