I'm looking for information on my grandfather. Until just this week I didn't have a name for him. My mother passed away in March of this year and she never told us his name (she was 84 years old). After she passed away I sent for her Social Security application. On the form it listed Ernest Carl Robinson as her father and Mary Geneva Robinson (her maiden name was also Robinson) as the mother. Before she married Ernest Robinson she was married to George Short and they had several children. The form said my mom was born on 5 Sep 1917 in Turrell, Arkansas. My grandmother was born in 1875. This is all the information I have on my grandfather. Evidently my grandfather and grandmother weren't married for long, because she was married to Emmett Hobbs around 1920. They lived in Crittenden Co., Arkansas. My mother lived with her Mom and Emmett. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
