Hello,
I am looking for old Fordyce phone books/directories from
the 1920's and 1930s and perhaps earlier. Where could I
find a resource like this? Would the Dallas Co. library
have this?
My problem is this. I can't find a death record for my
g-grandfather, Thomas Henry Stuart. According to family
records, he died 29 Mar 1934 in Fordyce. he was living in
1920 in Fordyce. I sent for a death record from the AR
Vital Records but received nothing. After looking in the
death index for AR, I did find a record in Jefferson Co. on
27 Aug 1934 for a Thomas Stuart, this could be mine since
his widow did move to Pine Bluff.
Any suggestions?
