This sounds like the Etheridge family of
Ashely County. Not the same as the Drew
bunch as far as I know. Check Beyond
Bartholomew for these names. Judge
Etheridge wrote an early history of
Ashely County. It is out of print but
is in Imie Carpenter's "Reflections of
Ashley County," also out of print but surely
is a History Commission. I have a copy.
