Bud,

I'm afraid I can't confirm John's middle initial. The marriage index says
"J." Walter Vandy Lindsey's obit, one of his sons, says "John I. Lindsey."
Maybe I can find something in his daughter's obit, Mrs. Hamilton Bayard
(Mitchell Elizabeth) LINDSEY NIXON.

I checked the "Faulkner Co.: Its Land and People," and John was only
referred to as John Lindsey.

I see where I already typed in Mrs. Mary Rebecca BRANNAN LINDSEY's notice.
There was no official obit, only the Resolution statement.
