Log Cabin Democrat, November 4, 1943
Mrs. C.H. Fuller, 69, Succumbs At Wooster
>From Saturday's Daily
Mrs. Mary Eunis Fuller, aged 69, wife of Charles H. Fuller, died at
6 o'clock this morning at their home at Wooster. Mrs. Fuller was born at
Alexander City, Ala., March 2, 1873, the daugher of Andrew and Nancy
Reid Burks, but came with her parents in infancy to Faulkner county,
where she resided until her death. She was a member of the Baptist
church. Besides her husband, to whom she was married October 13, 1892,
she is survived by three sons, Lowell and Russell Fuller of Little Rock
and Hinkle Fuller of Wooster, and by two brothers, Dolph Burks of
Portland, Ore., and Ray Burks of Conway. Funeral services will be held
Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Wooster Baptist church by Rev. T.W. Hayes of
Conway. Burial in the Pearson cemetery will be in charge of J.A. Pence &
Son. Pall-bearers will be Shelby Hightowner, Levi Patton, Clarence
Salter, Glenn Glover, John McMahan and Ernest Graham.
Note by Rick Reynolds: It is my understanding that the correct middle
name for Mary Burks Fuller was Ulala, not Eunis. She was my
great-grandmother. Her mothers maiden name we believe was Weed, not
Reid.
