Yes, it's very, very hard to stand on this side looking at that long road
ahead. I've found that it's best for me to just take today and look at
tomorrow's things otherwise you are too overwhelmed and don't know how to
get through it all. God will help you through it one day at a time. He'll
give you and Ed that strength to get through this. The chemo treatments
today are so much better than they were when my dad had lung cancer in the
1980s. Just remember that this is God's opportunity to show you and Ed how
much he can bless you when you place your burdens on him. You are in my
prayers. Just remember to smile and find something to laugh with Ed about
every day. It will get you through.

Well guys i am a little late ,but we didn't get home real early. and about
run down.
Ed has to take cemo once a week while taking the radiation 5 times a week.
We go back tomorrow, and Fri. too They have to get him set up and ready to
start treatments Mon. We had a good long visit with the Dr that will be
giving the radiation. You see Ed has emphysema also so he doesn't have real
strong lungs to start with. Hope he doesn't have to go on oxygen for some
time yet, but eventually he pobably will. He isn't saying much but i know he
is really dreading it. Going every day will get old quick We ony live 15 mi
from town . May have to dig may apple roots and sell them to buy gas. Ha!!
We will make it i know we will. Just watch us and see. i will try to keep
you posted. i am sure some may get tired of me, so if you do just hit the
delete button and forgive me. Love and God Bless June
