Elza, did you receive the connection Jean Blankenship and I uncovered between
the Fulton County Landers and Lunenburg Landers? Through my dad's uncanny
memory just before he died, he remembered his family traveling by wagon as a
child to visit the Union Landers cousins after church on Sunday spending the
night. This was done in turn. He thought the 3 main sons of Robert V. Landers
1841 - 1900 buried in Union Cemetery were uncles when in actuality after doing
long, tedious amounts of research at the Mormon library and the other genealogy
library in KC did I discover that Robert V. was a brother of our Anderson
Simeon Simmie Landers, Dad's namesake Simmie Osburn Walker. They were listed in
the 1850 Rutherford County, Tennessee, Census as brothers among their many
other siblings. Anderson S. was listed as age 18 and brother Robert V. age 8.
Three of their sisters married Tatums who some remained in Chrstian County,
Missouri, and some came down to Izard County making me wonder of the connection
of the Tatums of the area. As you saw in your letter, there was much evidence
that pointed in the right direction, and I gave it to Carroll and Jean to put
in the Landers book that is updated yearly.

Elza, since I had not heard back from you, I was just checking to see if you
had received the email.
