Hi Marie,

She was listed as Johann on the birth certificate, and I have found several
Johann Mathesons in Scotland (Matheson seems a common name in Scotland), so
it seems as though the name did exist. I thought it was strange too, but it
does seem to be a girl's name from that kind of time!

As far as I'm aware, Felix (Juan Angus) Aguirre is Argentinian (he was
listed as a Government Boat Inspector of Calle Bolivar, Buenos Aires), so I
don't think that you would find him in the arrivals. As I said in the
original message, I know next to nothing really though as my grand-dad never
spoke about things to my dad and seemed not to know anything other than that
he was adopted at an early age. All I know is what is listed on the birth
certificate, which is sketchy obviously!

Those details were:

Mother - Johann Aguirre (formerly Matheson, so I am presuming that she was
married to the father given their same surname)
Father - Felix Juan Angus Aguirre (same as my grand-dad), Government Boat
Inspector of Calle Bolivar 126, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Do you have Paypal? If you do, you can request money from me when you find
out about the possible costs, and I will happily send it to you to cover
whatever you might have to pay out. That avoids bank charges and postal
charges (I'm in the UK). Thank you so much for offering to do this!

Best wishes

Sally
