Yes, Jean, I know the way to make "return to addressee" dominant: Erase
ARIZARD-L from the To line and manually type in the address I want, being
very careful to read each letter correctly, such as jps.net [your server]
rather than ips.net. An irritant and a feeling of having someone else in
control of my machine, if only in a small way. It is a reminder that if
someone can do this much, what else can they do? [shudder] If you will
check around with other owners, I believe you will find that most do not use
this gimmick. Your list is new and is full of people genuinely interested
in finding their Izard County people, but a list can die from having a glut
of one-line remarks meant for a specific individuals. I have seen a list
deteriorate into a "Let's Party!", and "Where is Everyone, I'm Lonely" chat
room for less than a dozen people. That list owner worked herself into a
heart attack. I have seen lists taken over by one or two "authorities" who
are either "cute" or like to "pontificate". The number enrolled on each
list dropped drastically in a matter of weeks. Remember, every remark HAD
to go through the list, unless the sender went to the trouble of erasing the
list address and inserting another one. I am quite sure your list would not
die without this override as you are too conscientious. I believe all mail
programs have two choices, the equivalent of "Reply to Author" and "Reply to
All". Sara
