Thank you so very much for the article about the Whitfields. I know it will
be useful.
As you may have noticed, I posed a Query about the Whitfields and have gotten
many very good responses. One of these responses was from a Kathleen
Whitfield Stoner. She said that she had our family in her data and was
sending it by mail since it was too much for e-mail. Her data included the
marriage of my husbands grandmother to Ruebin Willis Whitfield. After that,
they had no notion of what happened to the couple. I furnished the
information for her.
I am looking forward to receiving her data.
I must thank you for asking the simple question about my name - Whitfield.
Up until then I really did not have any interest in researching my husband's
family. I had always hoped that he would do it.
I know you must be very busy. I see you name everywhere.
