Jim, I am not sure about the marriage date my self, (that's what I have but
its 2nd hand) but according to the 1850 and 1870 census, Mary Langston
Jeffery was born in 1814, and was 9-10 years younger than Jesse.

1870 Census, Union Twp, Izard County:

JEFFERY, Jesse 66fmrTN
Mary 56khMO


I dont show any of the children born until at least 1832, so that would make
a long span after marriage before children were born--unless she was really
10 years old!
