Mike,

I too am a descendant of John Adam Walker, Sr. -- it's great to bump into
another cousin. I don't have a whole lot of info of John Adam himself, but
I do have quite a bit on his descendants if you're interested. I'd be glad
to send all or part of it.

I would be interested to know more of your Robert T. Walker line. I have
spouses and children for some of Robert's children, but that's about it...

Wilma,

I am a descendant of John Adam Walker, Sr. b. 1776 in NC who settled in what
is now Izard County as early as 1820. His son, Robert T. Walker b. 1811 is
my gr-gr-gr-grandfather.

Fern,

My Estes line begins with my gr-gr-grandmother, Martha Frances Estes Wilson
Clinton (1836 - 1891). She is buried at Union Cemetery and was the second
wife of Harmon Bailey Clinton (1825 - 1903) the founder and organizer of the
Mt.Zion Baptist Church at Union where he preached 20 years. Martha's
parents
were Burris and Martha Morris Estes. Her first husband was Isaac Drury
Wilson who died in the Civil War. Harmon had also fought in the war.

Burris Estes, Martha's father, was born in 1805 in Orange County, NC, and
died Mar. 1, 1863, in Arkansas. I have his ancestors traced back further if
you are interested or if this is also your line.

Evalyn,

My ties to the Morrises begin with the mother of Martha Frances Estes Wilson
Clinton. Her mother was Martha Morris Estes. She was born in Nashville,
Davidson, Tennessee, in 1804 and died in Izard County, Arkansas. She
married
Burris Estes about 1826 in Arkansas. Her father was Lemuel Morris born 1798
in Orange, NC, and buried in Salem, Fulton County, Arkansas. Her mother was
Martha Estes Morris born 1800 in Orange, North Carolina.
